The annual dinner and meeting of the Milton Society of America will take place on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at the Colonnade Hotel, 120 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA 02116 (see map below). The social hour with cash bar will begin at 6:30 pm; dinner will be served at 7:30; and the general business meeting will take place following the meal. The current President of the MSA, Nigel Smith of Princeton University, will preside. For reservations, contact MSA Treasurer Angelica Duran by December 15.
Advertising in the Annual Dinner Program will be accepted up until December 15 for the January dinner. Full-page advertisements, which are also posted to this website, are printed in the program. You are encouraged to be in contact with your publishers concerning space advertisements to promote the sale of books. The advertisements are also an effective way to announce conferences and to publicize activities concerning Milton. There are over 500 members in the Milton Society of America, each of whom has full access to this website. Those members and guests who attend the annual dinner and meeting receive copies of the program at the dinner.
The rates are relatively inexpensive at US$90 per full-page advertisement. The program measures 8.5 x 5.5 inches, so a full-page advertisement should be 7.5 (h) x 4.5 (w) inches. Camera-ready copy should be submitted to the Secretary of the Society no later than December 15, 2012 by e-mail attachment. Checks, payable to the Milton Society of America, should be sent to the Treasurer.
