2016 Dinner

2016 Dinner and Meeting. Location, Book Display, Program, Reservations.
Location. The annual dinner and meeting of the Milton Society of America will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2015 at The Driskill, 604 Brazos Street | Austin, TX 78701 (T 512-391-7179). See this link and/or the map below. The social hour with cash bar will begin at 6:30 PM; dinner will be served at 7:30 PM; and the general business meeting will take place following the meal. The current President of the MSA, Feisal Mohamed of the City University of New York. The Honored Scholar for 2016 is Jason Rosenblatt, who will be introduced by Barbara Lewalski.

Book Display. There will be a table at the dinner for displaying recent publications (books and offprints of essays) and fliers or brochures about upcoming conferences and other professional activities. Please bring such items with you.

Reservations. The dinner costs $80 for full professors, their guests, and anyone wishing to pay the full cost; $75 for associate professors and their guests; $70 for assistant professors and their guests; $40 for students, independent scholars, retirees, and their guests. Admission cannot be assured for reservations received after December 20th. Tickets will be held for those who make reservations on time and given to you during the social hour on January 9th. Program. The annual program will be given to all attendees, mailed to any of the 500 members who request it, and posted to the MSA webpage. The rate for advertisement in the program is relatively inexpensive at US$90 per full-page advertisement. The program measures 8.5 x 5.5 inches, so a full-page advertisement should be 7.5 (h) x 4.5 (w) inches. Camera-ready copy should be submitted to
